Campbell Bailey-Christie commenced as Royalist-General of the Australian Royalist Society upon founding the Society on 12 August 2026.

Campbell has a background in the military and Human Resources Management, having served in the Royal Australian Navy from 2018 to 2025. Campbell’s naval service included postings around Australia and operational service, both within Australia and overseas.

Campbell’s interest in Australia’s Constitutional Monarchy, royal institutions and heritage developed from an early age, and was further strengthened through his military service.

His particular areas of interest include military history, Australian royal history, the role and traditions of the Crown, royal and constitutional institutions, and the relationship between the monarchy and Australia’s national identity and heritage.

As Royalist-General and Constitutional Head of the Society, Campbell seeks to build the Australian Royalist Society as an enduring apolitical institution dedicated to the study, preservation and celebration of Australia’s Constitutional Monarchy, royal institutions and heritage. Through the Society, he seeks to expand opportunities for education, research, preservation and community engagement, with a particular commitment to ensuring that knowledge and appreciation of Australia’s royal and constitutional heritage endure for future generations.
