Sir Chester “Chessy” Bear
Sir Chester “Chessy” Bear
Ambassador
The Australian Royalist Society is delighted to introduce a fresh face to our community—and he is already standing perfectly at attention! All the way from the Buckingham Palace in the United Kingdom;
Sir Chester “Chessy” Bear
has officially joined us here in Queensland to serve as our Society's official Ambassador.
Standing proud in his bright scarlet tunic, tall black bearskin-style hat, and holding his parade drum, Sir Chester is here to bring history and tradition to life for all ages.
At the Australian Royalist Society, we believe that celebrating our British heritage should be a warm, joyful experience for the entire family.
Sir Chester’s mission is to help us build a vibrant, welcoming community culture. With his friendly smile and marching drum, he makes our shared British cultural, institutional and legal heritage approachable, engaging, and fun for children and parents alike.
You will see Sir Chester standing proudly at our future public stalls, community markets, and commemorative events. He is always ready for a family photo, so next time you spot his red uniform, please bring the children over to say hello, take a picture, and celebrate our shared Crown together.
Welcome to Australia, Chessy!
For the King of Australia and the Realm.
