Our Culture

The Australian Royalist Society’s culture is founded upon a shared appreciation for royal heritage, tradition, history and the enduring cultural significance of the Crown throughout Australia, the United Kingdom and the wider Commonwealth.

While our purpose is serious, our approach need not always be solemn. We believe that royal heritage should be accessible, engaging and enjoyable for people of all ages and backgrounds. Through creativity, storytelling, humour and community participation, we seek to foster an environment in which tradition and modern culture can comfortably coexist.

As an independent and apolitical royalist society, we welcome people regardless of their political beliefs or constitutional preferences. Our culture is not built upon political division, but upon curiosity, mutual respect, education and a shared enjoyment of the traditions and institutions that have helped shape our history.

This philosophy is reflected in our developing Society traditions, including our Mythos, which brings imagination, personality and a sense of shared identity to the Society, and our Quote of the Week, which playfully reimagines familiar expressions from popular culture through a royal lens. These initiatives encourage members and supporters to engage with royal themes in ways that are entertaining, thought-provoking and sometimes delightfully unconventional.

We are equally committed to maintaining a family-friendly and welcoming environment. We believe that younger generations should have opportunities to discover royal history and heritage through experiences that inspire imagination, encourage learning and create lasting memories.

Above all, our culture reflects a simple belief: respect for tradition and a sense of fun are not mutually exclusive.

We are proud to celebrate the dignity of royal heritage while embracing the warmth, creativity and community spirit that make the Australian Royalist Society distinctly our own.

Our Mythos

“Australia... if one is to understand a great legal mystery, one must study all its aspects, not just the dogmatic, narrow views of politics! If you wish to become a complete and wise citizen, you must embrace... a larger view of the debate."

Chancellor Palpatine, Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith (2005)
